Summary:
The overlay analysis tool in QGIS was used to add each criterion layer with its corresponding weights. The final cyclonic wind vulnerability map is classified into five vulnerability classes: Very Low Vulnerability, Low Vulnerability, Moderate Vulnerability, High Vulnerability, and Very High Vulnerability, as shown in the figures below. The findings revealed that the houses of the selected barangays in Limasawa Municipality exhibit low to moderate vulnerability to tropical cyclonic winds.

From the data, 74.83% of the houses have low vulnerability. The houses are expected to have low to moderate damage such as loose roofing materials or minor wall damage but the structural integrity is likely to be maintained. On the other hand, only 25.17% are moderately vulnerable to cyclonic winds. Houses are expected to have moderate to significant damage, repair or reinforcement may be required.

In Brgy. Triana, the majority of the houses, approximately 73.09%, are classified as Category 2 or low vulnerability to cyclonic winds. This means that while these houses may sustain some damage, their structural integrity is expected to remain intact. The remaining 26.91% of houses are in Category 3 or moderate vulnerability which means that these residential hope are expected to have moderate to significant damages and may require repair.

The majority of houses in Brgy. Magallanes, comprising 86.64%, are classified as low vulnerability, while only 13.36% fall under the moderately vulnerable category. This connotes that the majority of the houses are expected to have low to moderate damage such as loose roofing materials or minor wall damage but the structural integrity is likely to be maintained while the remaining may have moderate to significant damage, repair or reinforcement may be required.
